Pergament, Mikhail

Mikhail Pergament received his Ph.D. in 2005 from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology working on wave-front conjugation during optical parametric amplification. He subsequently spent 7 years at European XFEL where he continued working on the development optical parametric amplifiers for pump-probe laser. In 2018 he joined the group of Franz Kärtner in the Center for Free Electron Laser Science at DESY to lead the high energy pulse and high average power laser development for AXSIS and possible future projects.
