Kellert, Martin

Martin Kellert studied Biomedical Engineering at the University of Applied Science in Jena, Germany and received his Diploma in 2004. In 2005 he he worked at Asclepion Laser Technologies GmbH in Jena, in the field of flash lamp pumped Er:YAG, Nd:YAG and RUBY lasers for medical treatments.

In 2008, he moved to the Research and Development Department of High Q Laser Innovation GmbH Rankweil, Austria, where he was working mainly on the development of high power regenerative amplifiers based on Yb:YAG and CALGO for industrial applications.

In 2011, Martin joined the Optical Laser Group of the European XFEL GmbH and was part of the team which developed and installed the pump-probe laser for three experimental beamlines serving five experiment end station. His main responsibility was the integration of an Yb:YAG based high power InnoSlab Amplifier.

In 2019, he joined the Group of Prof. Franz X. Kärtner as Senior Laser Engineer and is working on high power lasers.
