Fakhari, Moein
Moein Fakhari received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology (Tehran, Iran) in 2008 and 2010 respectively. He then worked at Sharif university superconducting devices lab for two years. In 2013 he joined DESY, MSK group, as a PhD student working on energy feedback cavities to correct the arrival time jitter of electron beam at FLASH and European XFEL. After finishing his PhD in 2016, he joined the UFOX group working on the AXSIS project. His main research area is the design and simulation of the compact accelerating structures and beam diagnostic components as well as the design and optimization of microwave and terahertz devices.
