Bazrafshan, Reza

Reza Bazrafshan received his master's degree from the Sharif University of Technology in 2016. For his master's thesis, he worked at ILSF on simulation of cold plasma in Ion Pump and on the design and construction of a commercial Sputter Ion Pump. After his master's, he was a member of the vacuum group at ILSF for designing a 3+ generation light source with very little emittance. Then he joined Prof. Franz Kärtner's group at CFEL as Ph.D. in 2020 and has been working since on Beam Dynamics in High Gradient Terahertz Accelerators.
