Thesinga, Jelto

Jelto Thesinga studied laser technologies at the University of Applied Science in Emden, Germany and graduated in 2017 as a B.Eng. with his bachelor thesis on the pulse duration measurement of the free-electron laser FLASH at DESY. Next to the writing of his thesis he worked as a scientific assistant at FLASHForward where Plasma Wakefield Acceleration is being researched. In June 2017 he joined the Ultrafast Optics and X-Ray Division as a laser engineer.
