Keathley, Phillip "Donnie"

Phillip ("Donnie") Keathley received both B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky in 2009, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT in 2015.  He is currently a research scientist at MIT where he investigates ultrafast, field-driven electron dynamics in solids and gases.  Current projects include developing novel electronic devices for optical field sampling and carrier envelope phase detection, as well as attosecond pulse generation and characterization.
